From leaving school at 16, Jay spent 2 years at college where he gained a BTEC National Diploma in Sociology, Psychology and Social Studies.

After spending a year as General Manager of a retail outlet, he joined the British Army as a Combat Medical Technician.

Jay Allen (Medic)Over the next 12 years, Jay was stationed across both UK and Europe and has deployed frequently on overseas operations with a variety of Rapid Deployment Regiments.

Prior to leaving the Armed Forces, Jay was the Senior Pre-Deployment Medical Officer for the Rapid Reaction Joint Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare Regiment.

Since leaving the Armed Forces, Jay has worked at Consultancy / Advisor level with a number of well known high street chains, bought and significantly grown an existing business, set up and run 2 separate businesses, sat on the board of a national government advisory board and been appointed a Regional Ambassador for a registered Armed Forces Charity.

Having worked with both public sector, corporate Plc’s as well as Micro and the the SME market, Jay’s no nonsense understanding of business success strategies have been fundamental in his own success, and a significant influence in many others.

Jay AllenIn 2012 whilst speaking on behalf of the Federation of Small Businesses, Jay’s 7 Steps to Success speech was considered so powerful, it was nominated and subsequently won a Global Entrepreneur ‘Big Impact to Business’ Award. The following year, he went on to host his own Global Entrepreneur Event, for which the event was nominated and won a ‘Big Impact to Business’ status award.

Jay now works as a Business Success Coach & Keynote speaker, working with business owners across the UK on either a 1:1 or group basis to help them break the their glass ceiling to achieve way more than they originally thought themselves possible.

As a Keynote speaker, Jay’s speeches predominantly concentrate on Communication – The clarity of your message, and TEAM – How to ensure the right people are on your side.

As a Regional Ambassador for the UK registered Charity Combat Stress, Jay also talks both incredibly honestly and emotionally about his own journey of Mental Health and conquering through adversity.
